Life Shade™ Return Policy
With the launch of our new ecommerce website, we are hoping to make your online Life Shade purchase as convenient and as easy as if you were purchasing from the store down the street. We also understand that, sometimes, things just don't work out, so here is our guarantee:
You may return all undamaged items purchased through Life Shade within 15 days of the original delivery (excluding custom shades). We will pay the return shipping costs (US returns) but you must call our offices in order for us to assign you a Return Material Authorization and to send you a return shipping label via email. No returned merchandise will be accepted without a Return Material Authorization (RMA). We will credit you in the same manner as your original payment within 7 days of receiving the returned item in saleable condition.

Life Shade™ Returns, Damages and Exchanges Policy
RETURNS: Please follow these steps to return your product:
- please call our offices at (540) 661-3434 within 15 days of delivery and request to return the product. we will not accept returns if you have not contacted us prior to returning the product.
- we will send you a UPS return label via email.
- please re-package the products using the original packaging.
- you are responsible for proper packaging for reshipment. That includes responsibility for damage in transit due to sloppy re-packaging.
- please include your a copy of your original invoice with the shipment.
- you must be the original purchaser. we will not refund any amounts to any third parties.
- this policy pertains to domestic retail sales only and not to wholesale customers. Custom shades, approved by you, are not returnable.
We will refund your money within 7 days upon return of the goods in saleable condition. Shipping costs will not be refunded. If we receive damaged returned goods, Life Shade will make the sole determination of whether the damage was due to faulty re-packaging or from carrier mishandling and will contact you promptly as to our determination.
Damaged Goods: If you receive any damaged shipment from Life Shade, including custom shades, save all of the packaging and contact our offices immediately. We will initiate the freight claim but the carrier (normally UPS) will require all of the evidence of damage from you. Claims for damaged goods must be made within 5 days of receipt of goods.
Exchanges: You may request to exchange product(s). Please follow the same instructions listed for RETURNS. You will be responsible for any additional costs and ensuring that we receive the original order back in saleable condition.
If you have received our product(s) as a gift and wish to exchange the gift for another, no problems. Simply follow the same instructions listed for RETURNS. You will be responsible of any additional costs at current prices. The time limit on gift returns is the same as for any product return.
